It's India's longest cable-stayed bridge 

1. The Sudarshan Setu bridge, also known as the Signature Bridge, holds the title of India's longest cable-stayed bridge with a total length of 4,772 meters.

It connects mainland Gujarat to Bet Dwarka Island 

This bridge serves as a vital link between mainland Gujarat and the island of Bet Dwarka, which is located around 3 kilometers off the coast of Okha.

It was recently inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi 

The bridge was officially inaugurated on February 25, 2024, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

It is named after Sudarshan Chakra, Lord Krishna's discus 

The bridge's name, Sudarshan Setu, translates to "Sudarshan Bridge" and is named after Sudarshan Chakra, the discus weapon of the Hindu god Lord Krishna 

It is expected to boost tourism and economic activity 

The construction of the Sudarshan Setu bridge is expected to significantly boost tourism and economic activity in the region by improving connectivity and facilitating easier travel to Bet Dwarka Island
